I did my bachelor assignment at the company Het Nieuwe Logisch / The Bin. For them I designed a new production method to turn bicycle inner tubes into a sheet material. Their current method was time consuming and led to an uneven sheet. I experimented with different production methods and created different sheet possibilities. The final design consists of a combination of uncut tubes and opened tubes sewn together. This resulted in a more sturdy and refined material.
During this assignment I learned to work individually, and on top of that I improved my sewing skills.
