This CD cover design was a commission for a small band from Utrecht called Half Centaur. For this design I made the background gradient using sentences from their lyrics. The gradient illustrates the feelings that the songs are about, which start quite dark but end up slightly brighter. The title of the album is “thought”, which is written on the cover in phonetic writing, this was done to incentivise the listener to think and because the albumcover would mostly be used digitally, thus having less need for the title to be recognisable on the cover.

The design was made using several Adobe programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator and the final renders where made in Dimension.
