About me
I am a second year master student Industrial Design Engineering at the University of Twente, where I follow the track Human Technology Relations. During my studies I learned among other things about product development, mechanical engineering aspects, marketing, aesthetics and ergonomics. This was done not only by following courses but also by combining the skills into projects. These projects are mostly done in teams of four to eight students, with an exception of fourteen students during a project about systems engineering. Some of these projects are featured on this website as well.
My favourite phases of the design process are the conceptualisation and defining phase. In these phases I enjoy mostly: ideation, design sketching, modelling, graphic design, aesthetic design, UI and UX.
Next to this, I enjoy working together and organising the project, where I maintain an overview of the assignment and the planning.
I love to create things, from graphic designs to physical models to drawings and even nice dinners and cakes. On top of that I love challenging assignments and learning new skills.

The Densho & PR committee is responsible for publishing the members’ magazine, designing merchandise and creating promotional materials such as posters and flyers. As a member of the committee, involved in these activities since October 2022 and, as chair, leading meetings, creating agendas and acting as editor-in-chief.

Making lighting and audio designs for theatre, dance and music performances. Leading fellow technicians while setting up these plans for a show and during these shows working as a light- or audio-technician or back-stager.
Additionally to this, giving a course on lighting technique to fellow students and participating on an excursion as a pin spot light operator.
